About fotofile

fotofile has been created as an artistic outlet for my photography and writing.  It is a place for me to gather all of my current online outlets.  You will see them as links on the right side of this page.  The links are personal and professional sites, organizations that have inspired me and are unique to visit.

On my current photography posts; I have been spending the past few months sorting through the many images I have taken over the past ten years. Right now, I have about 20 galleries that I am posting as sets on flickr. You can link directly to my flickr site from this page. As I post new sets, I will add artist statements to this blog. As this work progresses, please refer back often to your favorite images and let me know what you think…

I hope this is a way to keep in touch with friends and family from all over. Today is awash with email, cell phones and cheap flights, but do we stay in touch daily, know what interests another person finds important, share our experiences? fotofile is not an attempt to make these relationships one sided, I invite comments and especially encourage others to share experiences.  Please take some time and read around, visit my sites and leave comments.  I value the time you spend with me.
